SITAR members are
invited to attend (free of charge) a full day meeting in honor of Prof. Lorna
S. Benjamin, on Thursday, May 30, 2013, at the Park City Marriott Hotel (the
SITAR meeting will be at this same hotel on Friday, May 31, and Saturday June
1). The focus of the meeting will be on Prof. Benjamin's work on the Structural
Analysis of Social Behavior (SASB) and Interpersonal Reconstructive Therapy
(IRT). Presenters include: Dr. Timothy Anderson, Ohio University; Dr. Ken
Critchfield, University of Utah; Dr. Paul Florheim, University of Wisconsin -
Milwaukee; Dr. Aaron Pincus, Penn State University; Dr. Elizabeth Skowron,
University of Oregon; and Dr. Timothy Smith, University of Utah. The talks will
focus on a variety of issues regarding the interpersonal bases of
emotional adjustment, health, and therapeutic change. Prof. Benjamin will be in
attendance, and we anticipate good opportunities for informal discussions, in
addition to the formal presentations. The SITAR Conference hotel rates
will be in effect for this meeting, as well. Attendees are invited to send any
meeting-related inquiries to the meeting organizer, Tim Smith ([email protected]),
as are those attendees who are considering an extended visit to the area
before or after the SITAR meeting and would like related information about
visiting Park City, Salt lake City, or other recreational destinations in Utah
and neighboring states.
