Announcement from the Graduate Student Advisory Committee
The Graduate Student Advisory Committee (GSAC) of SITAR is reaching out to our members once again, seeking donations for the 2018 student travel grants program. Since 2011, this program has helped graduate students with limited financial resources to attend the conference, present their research, and form lasting ties with our society. Together, SITAR’s members have supported many young researchers from the US, Canada, and overseas. Thus, the program aims to promote the long-term health of SITAR.
This year, a total of nineteen graduate students have applied for travel awards. The success of the program relies upon the generosity of members. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation to help us reach our goal of $1500 USD in donations. In response, SITAR pledges to match every dollar donated (a dynamic, time-varying interpersonal process!). Please support this program and contribute to the vitality of the society, welcoming young academics and potential new members to our high-agency, high-communion circle.
It’s never too late to support our graduate students!
