Conference Announcement – Wright
Colleagues, the annual meeting is fast approaching. We are looking forward to hosting you here in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania later this month. The official conference dates are Friday and Saturday, July 28th and 29th. Please see the conference website for more details (https://sitar2017.wordpress.com).
We have an exciting program, covering topics like person perception, dynamic modeling of psychopathology, data visualization, computer vision, measurement development and psychometrics, social networks, and much more! Our two keynote speakers Karen Matthews (Interpersonal Factors and Risk for Cardiovascular Disease) and Jill Cyranowski (Interpersonal Risk Factors and Anxious Depression: Informing Psychotherapy Research and Practice) highlight traditional concentrations in local research, health psychology/behavioral medicine and psychotherapy research.
If you are planning to attend, we ask that you register as soon as possible, and no later than 1-week prior to the conference to assist with planning. We encourage you to schedule your accommodations in the conference hotel.
Pittsburgh has lots to offer in terms of good restaurants and nightlife. While you are in town, you can check out several summertime events, like Picklesburg (an annual pickle festival), see more here: http://downtownpittsburgh.com/events/?n=7&d=28&y=2017
