Conference Announcement – Sadikaj
The 21st annual meeting of SITAR will take place in Montreal on June 22-23, 2018 (https://sitar2018.wordpress.com/). Montreal is particularly lovely as it bursts into summer with its busy summer festival schedule. The meeting will take place on the McGill University campus. The meeting coincides with the Canadian Psychological Association (CPA) annual convention (June 26-30), which is integrated within the 29th International Congress of Applied Psychology (http://www.icap2018.com/).
Hotel reservations are made at the Delta Hotels Montreal (http://www.marriott.com/hotels/travel/yuldb-delta-hotels-montreal/). The room rate for our meeting is $195/night. Call the hotel at 1 (844) 860-3753 on or before Tuesday, May 22, 2018, ask for reservations, and then request the SITAR group rate. Reserve your room early to be assured of your room reservation (you can cancel if your travel plans change).
Students or others who are looking for inexpensive accommodations can reserve rooms at Carrefour Sherbrooke (http://www.mcgill.ca/accommodations/summer/csP), a residence that is administered by McGill Housing and Conference Services. The residence is only a few blocks away from the McGill University campus. The room rate is $99.00/night for a single or double occupancy ($20.00 extra for a third and fourth guest each).
The conference dinner will be held at Le Bleu Raisin, a lovely restaurant located in one of the Montreal’s unique neighborhoods, Le Plateau Mont Royal. The cost of dinner will be included in the registration fee.
We hope to see you at the meeting.
