A new format for the SITAR Newsletter
We are pleased to present a new format the SITAR newsletter, as approved by our membership at the recent meeting in Montreal. This step is part of our ongoing transition to a more user-friendly and paperless newsletter. You will recall that a few years ago we discontinued sending out paper copies of the newsletter unless members requested this (so far we have not received any requests), and instead posted a PDF of each issue online. Under the current format, readers will not be constrained to a PDF which must be scrolled to view various contents. Instead, readers can simply click the link for any content that might interest them, which can be easily uploaded onto the website. We hope that this will make the newsletter more user friendly and cost-effective, as the society will no longer need to pay for a graphic designer. We believe that the move is a timely opportunity to integrate the newsletter, with the considerable help of Johannes Zimmermann, with the new website. We do not plan on changing any content, but do hope that in the future the increased flexibility provided by the online format will permit new ways to share the latest and greatest in interpersonal theory and research with SITAR members and the world. As always, please let us know how the new format is working and send any suggestions our way.
